Oman deploys blockchain platform

(Middle East): Oman’s state-owned enterprise’s Blockchain Solutions and Services (BSS) has deployed its national Hyperledger Fabric and Indy platforms in collaboration with Omantel and Swisscom. The blockchain platform would help businesses, institutions and software developers in developing and testing their blockchain applications.

Self-driving bus testings in Chongqing

(Asia- Pacific): China Mobile, Huawei, Southeast University and France’s Easy Mile have worked in collaborations to develop a self-driving bus, which is now being tested in Chongqing. The 12 seater bus has a maximum speed of 20 km/h and is electric-powered. It is equipped with technologies like CAN (Controller Area Network)  laser radar while using 5G technology.
