Italtel to unveil its blockchain based MNP solution at MWC 2019

(Europe): Italtel is to present the updated version of its MNP (mobile number portability) solution known as i-RPS (Routing & Policy Server) which is based on blockchain technology. The system will allow operators to get view the full country-specific MNP database and automate the synchronisation of numbers.

Nokia and CommScope start collaborations

(Europe): CommScope and Nokia are partnered to develop passive-active antenna solutions for operators to the deployment of 5G. The main purpose of the antenna is to increase the capacity of the site and make the deployment easy. The design of antenna combines the capacity and benefits of MIMO’s 5G adaptive antenna technology and existing radio technologies high-performance antennas.
