Con Edison acquires mobile substations from Siemens

(North America): Con Edison has bought six mobile substations from Siemens for emergency response. So far, four mobile substations have now already been delivered while the remaining two are expected later this year. The substations are modified with seven-circuit breakers, providing power up to 93.3MVA.

Bangladesh PM inaugurates a raft of power plants and grid substations

(Asia-Pacific): Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Wajed has inaugurated six power plants and nine grid substations which will add 1,062 MW of power generation capacity to the national grid. One of the projects also includes supplying power to an area through a submarine cable.
