Deutsche Telekom and SK Telecom to partner on blockchain ID

(Europe): Deutsche Telekom and SK Telecom will collaborate to create borderless blockchain ID for authentication processes. The application would be used for in transactions, contracts and authentication globally. It is expected that initially it will be used by those who travel from Germany to South Korea and vice versa, and later will be used worldwide. The exact date of collaboration is not still announced.

Telefónica searches for entrepreneurs in blockchain and AI

(Europe): Spain’s Telefónica announced that it wants to support entrepreneurs in areas such as AI, blockchain and big data. A month-long initiative has been running through its subsidiary Telefónica Open Future and will end up on 20th March. The selected startup companies will be supported by Telefónica and Global Open Future.
