Entergy and NextEra Energy to build a solar project in the US
(North America): Entergy Arkansas and NextEra Energy have become partners to build 100MW solar energy project in Searcy, US. The project is expected to become operational in 2021 with the features of lithium-ion batteries for storing 30MWh of electricity.
Recently, Entergy Arkansas acquired 81MW solar energy project from Nextra Energy in Stuttgart and also plans to purchase another 100MW Chicot solar project once become operational in 2020. The cumulative capacity of the projects is around 281MW.
Highview Power and TSK developed a partnership
(Europe): Highview Power and Spanish procurement and construction (EPC) company TSkbecomes partner to develop long duration power storage system by using Highview cryogenic solutions. The new joint venture called Highview TSK will work on several projects in Europe, the Middle East and South Africa and will add energy storage capacity between 2019-2022.
