SUSI Partners acquires 50% share in lithium-ion battery storage projects in the US

(North America): A Swiss investment firm SUSI Partners has acquired 50% stake in California based portfolio of lithium-ion batteries projects from Macquarie’s Green Investment Group for its Energy Storage Fund. It is the first ever investment made by the firm in the US with the total capacity of 63MW/340MWh, containing the package of more than 90 separable battery storage facilities. The whole setup was developed by the California project developer AMS who will continue to manage all the facilities.

 

MHPS will construct a GTCC power plant in collaboration with El Sewedy Electric for UAE

(Middle East): Japan’s Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems, Ltd. (MHPS) in a partnership with an Egyptian manufacturing company El Sewedy Electric will develop 1.026.3MW gas turbine combined cycle (GTCC) power plant in Sharjah, UAE. The plant will be powered by two MHPS F-series M701F gas turbine. The power plant is expected to start working by 2021.
