TSE partners Huawei for the construction of 150 MW solar project in Japan
(Asia): Thai Solar Energy Public Company (TSE) and Huawei signed an agreement for the construction of 150MW Onikoube Solar Farm in Miyagi Prefecture, Japan. Huawei will provide 1500 smart PV solution. The partnership between TES and Huawei started in 2014 on a pilot project to generate clean energy and fulfil the growing demands in Asia.
PUC has finalised 75MW storage project contract
(North America): Hawaii Public Utilities (PUC) has approved the power purchase agreement (PPA) between Clearway Energy Group and Hawaiian Electric Company for the construction of two solar projects. The Mililani I Solar project and Waiawa Solar Power which would have a combined PV capacity of 75MW and will also include the battery storage system. These projects are additional to three Clearway solar projects, which are currently under construction and will be completed this year. Upon completion, the five solar projects would have a combined capacity of 185MW.
