Zain KSA tested MIMO on TD-LTE network
(Asia): Zain KSA, a Saudi Arabian telecommunication company, conducted a pilot test of MIMO (multiple input multiple output) using 2.6 GHz spectrum on its TD-LTE (Time Division- Long-Term Evolution) network. Nokia’s 5G-ready AirScale massive MIMO antenna was used during the test for improving the capacity of the network and to provide a high speed of about 700 Mbps per user.
