Bouygues Telecom completes 5G call in Lyon 

French Bouygues Telecom made its first call through 5G using the mobile terminal Snapdragon X50 modem in Lyon, France. For 5G trials, the company collaborated with Ericsson and Qualcomm Technology.

 Indian sending on telecom infrastructure service increased six-fold between 2014 and 2019 

The Indian government has significantly increased its investment in telecom infrastructure. From 2009 to 2014, the government spent approximately Rs 99 billion. The investment then reached Rs 60 billion in 2014 and onwards. It is assessed that the amount will remain around the same level in 2019.
