Freudenberg acquires majority stakes in XALT Energy
(North America): Germany’s Freudenberg entered a strategic partnership with the US XALT Energy. With the current 50% buying its share in XALT reached 81%. It also aims to buy the remaining share over the next few years.
Deakin starts work on renewable microgrid energy project
(Asia-Pacific): Deakin starts working with Ausnet service and Mondo on a renewable microgrid project at Deakin University. The project includes a 1MW central battery with other smaller batteries which will integrate rooftop solar panels across the campus. The expected project is expected to be completed by the end of the year at $30 million costs.
