EDF and CEI in a joint venture to develop an offshore wind farm in China

(Asia): French EDF and Chinese utility China Energy Investment Corporation (CEI) jointly signed an agreement to develop a 500MW offshore wind energy projects Dongtai IV and V in Jiangsu, China. The Dongtai IV is currently under construction, while the construction of Dongtai V is expected to start this year. The completion of both wind farms is scheduled to be commissioned by 2021. Recently, the Jiangsu province approved 24 offshore wind projects with a combined capacity of 6.7GW.
