Egyptian and Sudanese electricity interconnection project to be completed by 2020

(Africa): The first phase of Egyptian and Sudanese electricity interconnection project will go live in February 2019 and will reach 300MW. It is expected that by the first quarter of 2020, capacity will be upgraded reach 3000MW. The cost of the project is around $20 million on the Sudanese side.
