(Middle East): Facebook moves its focus towards blockchain R&D. It has started assembling a blockchain team in Israel, Tel Aviv to work on exploring the technology. The Facebook blockchain team will focus on finding new ways to integrate blockchain to its business. There are also recent reports regarding the launching of Facebook own cryptocurrency.

DigitalOcean to use Ankr platform

(North America): DigitalOcean, an American cloud infrastructure provider and Ankr, a distributed computing network, have formed a partnership. It will allow DigitalOcean to use Ankr distributed network to improve efficiency. It will provide unused cloud computing capacity and enable users to save up to 15% cost through improvement in service uptime and reduction in latency.
