NCI partners with Vostok for developing blockchain infrastructure

(Europe): Russia’s National Center for Informatization (NCI) plans to develop blockchain technology infrastructure in the country. It is partnered with a Russian private blockchain provider, Vostok. The partnership will apply Vostok technology to standardise various government operations. Vostok has also worked with Transtelecom (Kazakhstan telecom firm), Sberbank and VEB.RF (Russian banks), and Transmashholding (transport technology company).

 

The UK can tackle risks from Huawei equipment

(Europe): The UK National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) investigation shows that the UK can mitigate any risks from Huawei equipment while did not find any back doors or security threat from Huawei equipment, apart from the US intelligence reports through FVEY. This has somehow provided a lifeline to Huawei for its 5G operations in Europe as it also provides the procedure.
