Singtel and Ericsson opened a live 5G facility

(Asia Pacific): The two giants telecom and mobile operators Singtel, Ericsson in partnership with Singapore Polytechnic (SP) opened a live 5G facility named as “5G Garage”. This facility is also connected to the Singtel’s 5G network pilot which is located at Ayer Rajah. For now, it runs on the spectrum which is provided by Info-communications Media Development Authority (IMDA) for trials and the frequency is 3.5GHz, later on, it will facilitate by its own specific spectrum.
