KT plans to launch the BaaS platform

(Asia Pacific): The South Korean telecom giant, KT Corporation, plans launching of its BaaS (Blockchain as a Service) platform next month. It has presented its BaaS concept to around 43 companies which were keen about the platform applications in their business operations.

Telefonica makes a partnership for authentication in blockchain marketplace

(Europe): Wibson, a blockchain based market place for selling personal data securely, has now partnered with Telefonica to trials the authentication of Movistar users data in Uruguay. The platform will connect users to data buyers, such as researchers, marketers, advertisers etc securely where Telefonica will act as a certifier. Wibson also has its blockchain base mobile app works on tokens (WIB) and enable users to receive payments via smart contracts for their data transactions.
